- Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
- It's a highly technical, detailed, and rewarding industry. The challenge of bringing people together with somewhat opposite goals in a transaction requires the ability to educate, negotiate, and communicate at the highest level.
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- Losing a potential client because they have a friend or relative in the business with little or no experience and knowing this potential client will never get the service they deserve; and most likely will encounter problems creating undue stress and potential financial losses.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- There are so many I could write a book, however, I know I've done my job when: helping client purhcase a home they unexpectedly lost their job. They couldn't purchase their dream home for some time because of this temporary setback; but I did get several referals to friends, family, and yes coworkers who needed to sell because of job cutbacks!
- What is your best characteristic?
- My electrical engineering background - where implementing failure analysis and corrective action systems on government programs taught me how to run a business and constantly improve.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- People inspire me - my family keeps me grounded.
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- The best agents will always have business regardless of economic or social climates.
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- I have always been a big fan of water and somewhere I could simply live off the land and water is sufficient for me!
