This agent was the laziest agent ever! Never on time for appointments. Provided inaccurate information! I would never recommend her!!

Don't waste your time with this agent. She does not know market values. You would think that working for Coldwell Banker, such a major real estate firm, that a comprehensive pricing analysis would be performed. Especially considering the $1000's in commission she received. Alas no. Coldwell Banker has no process in place and each agent goes it alone. I would recommend NOT using a real estate agent to buy property. You can have your lawyer write the contract. Coordinate with the seller's agent for the home inspections. Low cost real estate agents will kick back a portion of the buying agent commission back to you. One agent is Berg Properties - there are others. Put ZERO trust in a real estate agent - they are out for their commission. Period.

I couldnt give Jodi more praise. She always went above and beyond for us and never let us down. I would recommend her to anyone. Shes fantastic and very knowledgable.

LK says that I was comatose during the transaction. Yes I was comatose in the fact that I was not getting clear answers from Ms. Stuhrberg and should have fired her and gotten a more experienced agent who was interested getting her client a good deal and had knowledge of market values. I found her while she was running an open house. Now I know that the inexperienced agents do the open houses in order to get clients. Live and learn.

LK if you want give a positive review so be it. By the way is LK really the agent?? The fact that LK is trashing a prior reviewer with comments like comatose and does not take responsibility reflects on the motives of LK. The fact of the matter is that the J. Stuhrberg did not perform a market analysis and discuss it with her client. The fact I accepted a magic number from the agent is my responsibility and I will eat the cost. I have had conversations with many real estate agents since and my view of the transaction is justified.

I think it is great that LK had a positive experience with the agent. I do not think I was comatose, definitely was not critical enough with the feedback from the agent and certainly was inexperienced with property valuation. I am not the real estate professional that why I got one. I have certainly learned my lesson that you must interview at least 3 agents and check up on their references and experience level. Chalk it up to an expensive learning exercise.

I personally recommended Ms.Stuhrberg to two clients and both couldn't have been happier with her services. Not only were they satisfied, they in turn plan on recommending others. I am disappointed that the prior reviewer is allowed to make disparaging remarks based on assumptions. Buyer's remorse is common - perhaps this Buyer was comatose during the process and should have taken responsibility and accountability for his/her purchase. In a fluctuating real estate market that we've not seen before it's imperative that the buyer understands the role they play in the transaction, and not wait until months after to refuse responsibility for their purchase. I'm confident this is not a new characteristic for this individual. I highly recommend Ms. Stuhrberg's services and if you have any doubt feel free to ask for references.

An update to the prior review I have updated the ratings to be more accurate. During the home inspection the home owners were home and were a distraction during the inspection with two childeren running around, candles lit on a Saturday at 12 noon. Not sure if this was arranged by the listing agent. The agent should have requested that the homeowners not be present at the inspection. Here again the agent did not take care of her client. The agent suggested that the property probably would not sell below $500K. The actual value after contacting several other agents and performing a market analysis was that the property was worth $480K. It wasn't until 3 months after closing that the agent contacted me and asked me how the new home was. Stay away from this agent at Coldwell Banker Arlington Heights.

Did not provide comparable market analysis. Poor negotiation skills. As with anything you purchase, do your own homework and due diligence to determine actual market value.
