Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I do - I love the flexibility with my family. I can bring the kids with me on several delivery errands - and they feel like they are a part of the job!
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Being new - I can't tell you how many times I have lost listings because I don't fabricate my accomplishments or the length of time I have been an agent.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
:) Ask my co-workers or my broker - they tell me all the time I should write a book! I have so many stories...success to me may be different from someone else...I could tell you I sold a 620K home in 15 days but to me the saving someone who fell on hard times in the 160K townhome and saving them from foreclosure is the best I could ever do!
What is your best characteristic?
My best characteristic? My kids!!! They are my one true reflection...but only when there good! :)
Who or what inspires you the most?
My husband - he works so very hard, never complains and asks so little in return...his strength and dedication amazes me everyday!
What is the best advice you ever received?
My dad once told me that it didn't matter what career I choose - just follow a path you love to do. It just stands to reason that if you love to do something - you'll excel at it and then no matter what you'll have a job!
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I have been lucky to live in the great states of Michigan, North Carolina, Florida and now Illinois...I have loved each location for different reasons. But I love the change of seasons...you don't really miss them until you live somewhere where they don't accure...I love warm weather - ache for it when it when it is gone, but I think it is appreciated more when it is absent for 6 months of the year so I have to say the suburbs of Chicago is where I'll be for awhile! I'm a midwest girl at heart!
