- What is the average home price in your market?
- Around $400,000.
- Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
- I get to help people move what is more than likely the biggest purchase they will ever make. I get to meet new people and work with new people every day.
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- Managing expecations. It's easy to help buy or sell in a hot market. My work comes in when the market is more normal and it takes time and effort to sell property. The whole idea is to manage expectations from the very beginning.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- My first sale. I was 22 years old. Didn't know what I was doing but I met some great people who trusted me to help them. It all worked out and they bout and sold all within 90 days. I drive past their place a lot and smile. A little embarrassing but I had to start somewhere.
- What is your best characteristic?
- Patience.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- My dad. Hard worker. Good family man. Always there to give me good advice when I need it.
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- You have to like what you do for a living. Money isn't everything. Family is where it is at.
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- If it were abroad it would be Ireland. Back home I woulnd't trade Chicago for anywhere else.
