Jason was a wonderful real estate agent to work with. I just moved to Chicago and had to find an apartment under a deadline. He explained all processes and paperwork well and kept me informed of every step that happened. I would highly recommend him for anyone searching for an apartment.

Raider Realty is headed by Jason Raider and he's a realist. If you want a million square feet for 5 dollars, open a fantasy book and leave those of us in the real world alone. But if you're looking to get a nice place that is right for you then consider these folks. Jason does something that so few people do these days: he actively TRIES to find ways to work with any given situation. If you're credit is trashed, it may be that not even Harry Potter and his magic wand can help you, and beware of anyone that tells you different. But Jason will stretch to the limit to see if anything at all can be done. He seems to know virtually all the landlords in the city which is quite a nice plus. It's been my experience that, in the end, he's being fair and vigilant in trying to help people find good places to live that are right for them, and that's all I could ask of anyone. Bottom line: try to be realistic and fair with yourself first, then him, and he'll be realistic and fair to you.

I was trying to rent a unit through Raider Realty. After they got my check to run my credit history, I couldn't get ahold of them. I was kept waiting an entire week before even being told there was someone else they were considering for the place. Then I was still not even given the courtesy of a phone call or email or anything! I have awesome credit and have always paid my rent on time so I have no idea what the problem was and was never told. Will never use them again and recommend you don't either!

I have used Jason a number of times over the years. Jason has found me places to live, as well as having found tenants for my rental units. He has helped me both buy and sell real estate aside from the rentals. I am extremely please with his service and knowledge. I will continue using Jason and I have recommended him to many friends all of whom have told me how great he was in assisting them.

Jason Raider knows the city of Chicago extremely well and has built good relationships with a lot of landlords. He was responsive to all my questions and was willing to go the extra mile when necessary, including taking me late at night to see an apartment (the only time I could do it) and taking me to the landlord's workplace so that we could get the paperwork done promptly. I've lived in the apartment for nine months now and have been very happy with it, and with the landlord.

Jason Raider has no business in the real estate business. In Chicago, it is a law that the cost to heat a unit be disclosed to a renter if the renter will be paying the heating. Mr. Raider included this fact in the lease, but he did not include the disclosure. Instead, he did a runaround about it and how it wasn't required, etc. Mr. Raider basically wanted to cover up how much the heating is in this unit. I wouldn't trust anything he says. As far as I am concerned, he is a liar. But besides intentional misinformation, he is also incompetent. He put the wrong street address on my lease! I used the number on the lease to get my mail forwarded, and this has caused me untold headaches. If only Mr. Raider had taken a few seconds to put the right number on the lease. I don't think Mr. Raider can be trusted to take a few seconds to do anything.
