2+ years... almost 3 actually, in real estate - and I'm a FULL TIME agent!

What is the average home price in your market?
About $200,000; however, there are dozens of mini-markets so you have to drill down & be specific.

Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
Short sales and REO's (foreclosed homes) are leading the market. Sellers have to compete with these homes, but do have some pro's that they don't offer, such as quick turnaround and homes that haven't been abandoned!

Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I LOVE being a Realtor!! Before real estate I was an HR Manager for 17 years. It's SO REFRESHING to be back to doing what I love, which is to help people and make 'em smile!

What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Our market's made it pretty tough, but it's been a great time to build the business part of the business!

Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I helped a young couple take advantage of the market conditions and buy a home that was only 100 square feet shy of being TWICE as large as their previous home. It had been appraised 3 years ago for over $500,000 and they were able to get it for $315,000... and with such a low interest rate that their payment only went up by about $145.00!!

What is your best characteristic?
I'm a true professional. I will tell you like it is. I'm also very good at communicating regularly with my clients.

Who or what inspires you the most?
My family. Just the other day my 5-year old said, "daddy, wait a minute, I got some hugs and kisses to put on you"... wow... I may never stop smilin' from comments like that! :)

What is the best advice you ever received?
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind" From Mathew 22:37

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
In the mountains just north of the Treasure Valley.
