- I love being a real estate professional for many reasons. It is a challenging career and there are always new challenges that make each day interesting. The best part though is when I can help someone find a great deal on the home of their dreams or when I can help a current homeowner get their property sold quickly and for top-dollar.
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- One of the most challenging issues that I face as a Real Estate Professional is the ever-changing marketplace, which can cause homebuyers and homesellers to become frustrated at the process. I enjoy showing them how easy it can truly be, though.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- One of my best client success stories was in helping a struggling family get their home sold through a short sale. Due to no fault of their own, they were forced into making the tough decision to let go and start over. Going through a short sale can be a very stressful time for anyone, but this couple was really struggling and it was really affecting their marriage and family life. Through consistent communication and encouragement, we made it through to the end and got their home sold and found them a great rental property. Their stress levels were almost instantly nullified and their marriage also began to improve immediately. Less than 1 year after the completed short sale, they were debt-free and their credit scores were rapidly improving. I am looking forward to helping their family find a great deal on a new home this year and I can't wait to see the huge smiles on their faces once they get settled into their new home.
- What is your best characteristic?
- Hmmm...I guess I would have to say that my best characteristic is my transparency. What you see is what you get. I guess that could also be considered one of my worst characteristics, too. :-) Anyhow, you can always count on me to be straight-forward and honest with you, including my personal opinions of any property we are looking at or any difficult situation we might be facing together.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- Nick Vujicic is one of the most inspirational people I have ever met. Nick was born with no legs and no arms and yet he lives his life with absolutely no limits. We as human beings can accomplish anything we put our minds to and seeing Nick face life head-on everyday is inspirational and motivating beyond words.
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- Don't talk about...Be About It!
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- If I could live anywhere in the world, I would live right here in North Idaho from April through September and then I would live on one of the Hawaiian islands (probably Kauai) from October through March. Someday this will be a reality for me...looking forward to be a "snow bird". ;-)
