"My wife and I contemplated a move from our home Coos Bay Oregon; this was going to be a complicated move as we were looking to move not just ourselves but our company as well. We narrowed our choices down to 3 or 4 different locations, and then I began the arduous task of contacting real estate agents to help facilitate the move. One agent stood so far out from all of the other agents, that he singlehandedly convinced us that the Treasure Valley was where we needed to move to. Paul was instrumental in relocating both my family and my business. I would not know where I would be today if I had not met Paul. Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
We are starting to see some price stabilization as market activity continues to increase. The majority of the activity in the market right now is being driven by distressed properties (short-sales, bank reo's) etc. This has lead to an increase in buyer activity! When you combine the tremendous pricing opportunities with the $8000.00 first time buyers tax credit it is helping to get things moving in the right direction.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I truly enjoy helping families buy their very first home and helping sellers who are faced with so many of the dilemmas created by our turbulent economic times.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Getting people to understand where we are currently at in the market and how we got here. Too many people are holding onto pricing data from 2004-2006 and not recognizing that the market has changed.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I feel that anytime I'm working with a buyer it's going to be a success story because we work together as a team to get them into the best house possible. It would be unfair for me to write about it anyways. I'll leave that up to my clients and will allow them to speak on their own behalf in the reviews section.
What is your best characteristic?
Honesty! Whether it be good or bad news, I'm going to deliver it to you as quickly as I can. Too many people are afraid to look their clients in the eyes or at the very least call them and keep them up to speed. As an industry we really fall down when it comes to client contact and relaying information in a timely manner.
Who or what inspires you the most?
I'm truly inspired by helping families to achieve more and help set them on the path to success.
What is the best advice you ever received?
Always remember everyone that you met as you achieve success. Each interaction and contact was vital in helping you achieve that success.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
San Diego, California. That's where my family is.
