What year did you become a real estate agent?
The agent has not answered this question.
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
I've been in real estate going on two years now.
What is the average home price in your market?
It depends on what you're looking for. The Athens area is one of the most beautiful, diverse cities
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
Not really. Unlike oter areas of Georgia, it's been business as usual.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I love the interaction with people. My educational background is in Communications and Public Relations so I see real estate as a natural extension of those studies. It gives me a chance to be creative and analytical all at once.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
The national media has painted the real estate market as being on a downward spiral which is just not true. I think it's a great time to buy a home and most everyone who has any knowledge of the business would agree.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I was working with clients who were trying to sell their home in Florida. When we first went out looking, they weren't sure of the area and I was relatively inexperienced as well. What happened was as we looked at more and more areas, they learned what the possibilities were while I learned more about the area than I ever would have on my own. It was a great experience which ended with the couple finally finding their perfect home and me being more confident that I could succeed as an agent.
What is your best characteristic?
I love to hear the back stories of my customers and clients. Yes, business is important and the main idea is to list or find a home. However, I find that getting to know my clients personally helps us both understand what would be the best couse of action.
Who or what inspires you the most?
I'm inspired by vision. I like to work with people who have clearly defined goals because they usually take the proper steps toward success.
What is the best advice you ever received?
Slow down, stop talking, and listen to what the person across from you has to say.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I grew up in South Florida so the beach doesn't have any strong hold on me. I love Atlanta, Athens, and the surrounding areas and I could spend the rest of my life here. However, my wife and I would love to live in Australia and I also have a special affinity for Vancouver.
