- I love helping people! Once you are a client fo the Gebhardt Group, you are a client for life. We stay in touch with all our clients and provide them other services besides the buying or selling of homes. We offer advise on such topics as property tax appeals, 1031 tax free exchanges, investments, short sales and price opinions.
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- In the current market, it is difficult to tell clients that they have lost value in their home since 2007.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- I had a relocation client from out of state under contract and 3 weeks before closing the home failed to appraise. My clients already had all arrangements made for the move and were frantic when the contract fell thru. I immediately went to work to find them a new home....We had been to a communtiy before that they had liked but no homes in their price range were available. I followed up on a home that was listed as "under contract" and found out that that contract had fallen through due to buyer financing. I took photos of the newly available home with my flip cam and walked my buyer in Iowa thru the home. They put an offer on the home and bought it sight unseen with only my recommendation. They trusted my judgement and loved the home when drove into the driveway the day before we closed.
