Two days before closing on the business sale, Roberts said Drossos presented him with paperwork he thought related to the transfer of the liquor license for the club. "He said to trust him," said Roberts, who owned the home as a second house and lives in Indianapolis. "Should I have read it? Darn right I should have. But I had no idea these documents had anything to do with my house." So he signed away, creating a Land Trust Agreement that named Drossos and his wife, Joanna, as trustees of the property at 3901 Doral Drive, near Independence Parkway in Tampa. In 2004, Drossos pleaded guilty to a grand theft criminal case and served 24 months of probation. Since 1997, Drossos has been a civil defendant in a variety of cases, mostly including contract disputes. Story here: http://www.tbo.com/news/metro/MGBIHLZJNZE.html
