What year did you become a real estate agent?
2003
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
I am a third generation Tampa Native. I've been in the Real Estate industry over 5 years full time.
What is the average home price in your market?
The average home price range varies drastically depending on the area.
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
Downtown Tampa is definitely up and coming. New high rise condo buildings such as SkyPoint and the Element are going in along with the Channelside area condos. Soon Downtown Tampa will not just be a place to work, but also a place to live. I work in the entire Tampa Bay area including Hillsbouough, Pinellas, & Pasco Counties and am constantly seeing new developments.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I absolutely love helping people. I enjoy walking my clients through the entire process of either buying or selling a home. It is both rewarding as well as challenging. My father designs and builds homes and being exposed to that while growing up has really helped me in my career.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
As I said before, the Real Estate industry is both rewarding as well as challenging. The market is constantly changing, each home is completely different, and each client different from the next.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I will never forget a couple I worked with that was relocating to the area. After their first visit I got to know them and was able to narrow down an area that would fit their lifestyle. By their second trip I had the list of homes narrowed down and knew which home they would love. Sure enough, they fell in love with one of the houses I showed them. I wrote an offer that day and negotiated a great price. I handled everything for them while they were still living out of town. I relayed the information over to them by both email as well as by phone and stayed in close contact. The next time they came to town was the day they closed. They couldn’t have been happier that I was able to handle everything for them and could not stop thanking me for being so thorough and caring throughout the entire transaction and for going above and beyond what any other agent had done for them in the past. I didn’t do anything that I wouldn’t normally do for any of my clients. They have been in their new home for a few years and could not be happier.
What is your best characteristic?
I truly care about each of my clients. I love walking clients through the process of either buying or selling a home. I have lived in the Tampa area my entire life and have learned from some of the best in the industry.
Who or what inspires you the most?
My father inspires me the most. He is by far the most hard working and caring person I have ever met. He is dedicated to his clients and takes pride in his work. I am honored to have him as both a role model and a father.
What is the best advice you ever received?
"Find a career that you love." Luckily I found it! Real Estate is my career as well as my hobby and I could not be happier!
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Believe it or not, I love Tampa Bay. I am a third generation Tampa Native, and although I love to travel, I also love coming home. I can’t think of living anywhere else and loving it nearly as much as I love Tampa and St. Petersburg.
