I have sold residential real estate for four years and I have sold commercial real estate for three.

The average price of a single family home in September was $217,920 which is down about 60,000 from

Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
There has been a lot of movement in the bank owned properties and we are looking forward to the HUD money that will become available soon for first time home buyers for bank owned. Prices have steadied out in many of the areas too.

Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
While the last few years have been a roller coaster I still enjoy seeing people get that home they want. I enjoy educating people about real estate whether it's a home or an investment property.

What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Adjusting - Real Estate changes and if you slow down you realize you are not up with the latest news, the latest trends and that is a disservice to your clients.

Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
While the market has been bad for many sellers - I had the opportunity to put a single mom, first time home buyer into a home without downpayment assistance. It was great seeing someone get a home that would have been out of her reach just one year ago.

What is your best characteristic?
Tenacity. I keep going. Even if the answer is no - then I keep looking till I find my client a yes!

Who or what inspires you the most?
My husband and children - because they put up with me no matter what. How can you not be inspired by love like that!

What is the best advice you ever received?
Schedule time for your family. It's amazing how if you don't calendar it you could miss out. So I calendar every event for my children so I am always there.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would live here in Tampa. I have hundreds of places I want to visit but I love living here in Tampa Bay.
