We were potentials buyers for a house. Eric represented the sellers. We put in a cash bid that got rejected. Eric told us that there was another party interested in the house but that they would need financing. He also told us what the sellers would accept if it was a cash offer. We talked to a realtor that was a friend of mine for advice. We decided to use my friend to represent us because we felt more comfortable using a realtor ourselves. Eric got upset since he wouldn't be making the full comission and send us an email that the price he gave us was if we didn't use a realtor. My friend emailed him back that he would back out if it meant that we would get the house. The sellers went ahead with the other party. We believe that Eric probably never submitted our offer to the sellers which is illegal and probably convinced the sellers to take the other offer over ours. This guy is a jerk and I don't recommend anyone do business with him.
