I am a friend of the family. I can ****ure you that Mr. Collman was retired at the time you rented. He sold his company in 2004 and was not even an active Realtor after that. He is a good man that was always very generous in the community. The two gentlemen that purchased his company are who you should complain to.

We rented a house in Crawfordville from Collman. They were helpful in the beginning, but once we moved it, that was all over. We tried multiple times to let them know things that were going wrong with the house (which was brand new, by the way), and the never called back or did anything. Then, we moved out under the military clause when my husband got orders. I spent an entire day cleaning the place top to bottom (well, my friend did), and they said they'd mail my deposit. When I called back the following month to check the status, the mailbox (voice) was full. I finally was able to leave a few messages over the next couple months with no call back. Now, over a year later, we are out our $1000 deposit with no way (other than small claims court) to get it back.
