"I bought using another agent when prices were rising in 2005 and you had to make an offer on a property on the spot and generally at full asking price or you were likely to lose the chance to buy it. I did pay full price, but suspect I could have done better with Ben as my agent, because when it came time to sell nearly three years later at the end of 2007, the market was on its way down, but Ben still managed to sell my my house for $12,000 more than I paid for it. I recommend him fully!"

"Ben is a hard worker and pays attention to details. He does everything he can to get a home sold and utilizes current technology to get the job done. Ben also keeps you informed on market conditions and will tell you the good, bad, and ugly; if he thinks your home needs improvement or a price change, he won't hesitate to make recommendations, as it is his job to get your home sold.
We have worked with part-time agents in the past and always found it difficult to reach them with questions. Ben always responded to our emails in less than 2 hours and generally within 10 minutes; he also anwsered the phone most everytime we phoned and returned calls within that same 2 hour time frame if we missed him and left a message. We trusted Ben's opinion so much, when we sold our home in Florida and moved to Maryland, we had Ben refer us to a full-time agent in the MD area who could take care of us in near the same capacity as he did."

Pricing seems to have bottomed out in our local market and homes are starting to sell quicker than they have over the last couple of years.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I love working all of the details for my clients; they have too many other things to worry about during this important time in their lives.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Honestly it is working with part-time agents who I have trouble getting in touch with when it comes down to crunch time with a purchase agreement.

What is your best characteristic?
I am friendly and always available. I am a full-time real estate broker, who takes my profession very seriously.
Who or what inspires you the most?
My family has always inspired me to be the best at who I can be.
What is the best advice you ever received?
If you feel the sailboat going over, point it into the wind. Hey, the question didn't say it had to be real estate specific. I'm a sailor and I still recall my dad teaching me to sail and telling me to turn the boat into the wind if it leaned over to much for me. Of course, as I grew up, I did my best to get the rails in the water.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I'm already living in paradise. I love Pensacola for the wonderful Pensacola Bay and the prettiest white sand beaches that we have. Watch the sunset from the bow of a sailboat while anchored at Ft. McRee and you will fall in love with the area too.
