Negotiating was so stressful, especially on a foreclosed home. We learned that if we didn't move fast enough, we'd miss out on a great buy. I am currently living in a house that is on the market and on Friday at 8:30 at night I received a call from Kristen begging to show the house the next morning (the Friday before labor day). I mentioned we had plans and if she could come by early in the day it would be better. We agreed on 10:15am and "no later" (her words). At 10:45 the next morning I called and left a message on her cell phone to see if she and her client were still trying to make it to the house. She never called back.

I bought using another agent when prices were rising in 2005 and you had to make an offer on a property on the spot and generally at full asking price or you were likely to lose the chance to buy it. I did pay full price, but suspect I could have done better with Ben as my agent, because when it came time to sell nearly three years later at the end of 2007, the market was on its way down, but Ben still managed to sell my my house for $12,000 more than I paid for it. I recommend him fully!

Ben is a hard worker and pays attention to details. He does everything he can to get a home sold and utilizes current technology to get the job done. Ben also keeps you informed on market conditions and will tell you the good, bad, and ugly; if he thinks your home needs improvement or a price change, he won't hesitate to make recommendations, as it is his job to get your home sold. We have worked with part-time agents in the past and always found it difficult to reach them with questions. Ben always responded to our emails in less than 2 hours and generally within 10 minutes; he also anwsered the phone most everytime we phoned and returned calls within that same 2 hour time frame if we missed him and left a message. We trusted Ben's opinion so much, when we sold our home in Florida and moved to Maryland, we had Ben refer us to a full-time agent in the MD area who could take care of us in near the same capacity as he did.
