Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
The investors are back in the market, there has never been in my career a better time to buy Real Estate. Builders are starting to build new product again. Foreign investors are huge in Florida they seemed to have realized that now is the time to buy. They are also cash buyers most of the time which is a great thing as a Realtor.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I have meant so many wonderful clients from all over the world. Real Estate for most people is the single most important investment they have, you have to be sensitive to your clients situation and understand that it's such a personal issue. I take great pride in getting the job accomplished for my clients, it's a great feeling.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Right now it's very difficult with so many properties for sale that are upside down with their mortgage. The appraisors are very strict with their numbers. It's been a little difficult to price homes with all of the foreclosures on the market. The sellers are not happy to hear what their properties are really worth.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I sell homes to many clients overseas and many do not visit before purchasing. One of my clients was so nervous to purchase it was a difficult decision for him to make. The property was such a great opportunity so he hesitantly went through with the purchase. When he did have time to come to Florida, he could not believe what a beautiful property he ended up buying and was so happy. I was very nervous as well, I knew it was a great buy but when your spending other peoples money you can only hope that they will be happy. I've not run into anyone yet under those circumstances that was not happy with thier choice of purchasing without viewing the home.
What is your best characteristic?
My honesty and the fact that I trully care about all my clients that entrust to me one of the biggest buying decisions of thier life. I want and need to do a great job for everyone.
Who or what inspires you the most?
When a family has struggeled to sell thier home and I get the job done for them, it's priceless.
What is the best advice you ever received?
Someone once told me never work with friends. I did one time and it was a big mistake, I never will again. What's amazing though is that I have made great friends from the clients I have worked with and of course will always work with these new friends.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I live in Florida right now and I love it, Florida has so much to offer with beautiful wheather as well. What more could I want?
