It is my understanding that Ms. Chamberlain only works as a rental agent with Verandah Properties, a company I have had the misfortune of leasing from for the past year. She was the new agent ****igned to my property after the former agent left the company. This woman has NO knowledge of tenant landlord law, I in fact had to send her the Florida statutes when she was not complying with said laws. For example: she has consistently refused to visit the property I am currently renting when a defective air conditioning compressor caused considerable flood damage to the kitchen floor and left me, 3 months pregnant and in dire need of safe and sanitary housing, to fix the problem on my own. She stated that she would not enter my "condo" (I RENT an apt, I am not responsible for a unit's maintenance and major repairs)and needed to have it fixed at "my convenience." All in all, I hope this 'incredible agent' loses her license and learns the law she should be held accountable for.
