- Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
- I love helping people find a home, especially their first home. I enjoy looking at homes myself so I love working with buyers.
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- The most challenging issue for me is getting my name out to the public. Advertising is very expensive and there are well known agents in my area.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- I worked with some clients for 8 months during the height of the real estate boom in Orlando. I know we put at least 7 contracts in on various homes. We even had one that went right up until the day before closing and we couldn't get the home itself through underwriting. One of my clients actually blamed me for the deal falling through. I continued to help them and they finally had a contract accepted that made it all the way to closing. They actually ended up getting the house for much less than they offered. The house fit them perfectly. I visited them after they were settled in and it looked like they had always lived there. That is what being a Realtor is all about.
- What is your best characteristic?
- My determination. I will keep looking and keep working to make my clients home ownership dreams come true.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- What inspires me the most is my own experiences with home ownership. I have enjoyed both of the homes I have owned and I learned alot about buying and selling through both of those transactions.
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- When I was a teenager I worked for a man who owned a small manufacturing company and he told me something that I have never forgot. He said, "The customer is always right". I know that he didn't mean that they were literally always right but that we should do whatever we can to meet the customers expectations and I have tried to do that throughout my life.
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- North Georgia. I love the mountains and I have always wanted a log house. I would love to have a huge log house in the North Georgia mountains.
