What is the average home price in your market?: Since the market has declined somewhat in Orlando, the average price range is $130k. For the most pa
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?: I began my career in mortgage lending, and then worked for Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for 3 years. I thought I would round out my career by 'trying' real estate for a time, but I am hooked. After working selling homes for the last 22 years, I find each day challenging, rewarding and one of the best jobs in the country! I love what I do, and I must because I sell a home every week of the year. I closed 69 transactions last year, and hope to double that this year.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?: Short sales! Working with the banks and lending institutions can be frustrating, but with time and patience, most short sales close and the buyers and sellers are very happy. I closed 48 short sales last year!
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.: My first closing, the seller brought a 44 magnum to the closing and was going 'kill' the buyer. The police evacuated the title company and the buyer never showed up (thank goodness) and I lived to sell that house to another buyer. No guns that time!
What is your best characteristic?: I try to follow my Christian beliefs regarding my character, conduct and conversation. I am honest and hard working, and will do everything in my power to help you with your sale or purchase. My staff reflects the same beliefs! We are at your service. How can we help you today?
Who or what inspires you the most?: Jesus Christ, determines my path daily, and my walk with HIM is the best journey I will ever undertake.
What is the best advice you ever received?: Help your colleagues in this business! If we work together we accomplish so much more!
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?: Here in Orlando. My family, friends, Church and life is here in Orlando. I miss my hometown in Ohio, but my family visits on a regular basis. This is where I want to be!
