Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
There is always so much happening in our area and we pride ourselves on staying informed. From the latest new construction releases in Lake Asbury to the growing Chafee Corridor to Cecil Field so much is happening in Clay County. Green Cove Springs at the same time is experiencing a revival as well as several new planned communities along with waterfront. condo's. Of course don't forget the already award winning existing planned communities in Fleming Island and Oafleaf.

Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I enjoy real estate because there is satisfaction at the end of each transaction. You have made someone happy, satisfied and you have made a friend while at the same time it's your career. I can't think of a better way to make a living!

What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
I feel the most the most challenging issue facing me as a real estate professional is public trust. Unfortunately for many consumers somewhere along the way they have had bad dealings with an agent. It's unfortunate for those of us who take our careers so very seriously. I'm up for the task. If you're a true professionally the rest we can handle. It's just getting past that initial bump. It's hard to overcome others failures.

Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
Mmmm? The most interesting moment was probably when I went to a customer’s house on Friday to follow up for a Monday closing. This customer was a widow for background information. When I arrived there was not a single box on property and nothing packed. I panicked. I called in the reinforcements. The next day we started packing first thing in the morning, my husband daughter, son in law, son, handyman and my niece. By Sunday we were still working hard, there were years of pile up to deal with. We took a break at a neighborhood pumpkin party. They asked what we were doing. When we told them, 6 neighborhoods followed us back and proceeded to help us finish the packing, moving and cleaning. It was a beautiful sight! I joked with them not to get the word out that when you list with Kim Knapp not only will she sell your house but she will pack and move you too! But at the same time it feels good to do a good thing. Especially for someone that's not in the frame of mind to do it for themselves and has no one else.

What is your best characteristic?
Git R Done. I just find a way. I was just always taught that those who want to do will find a way and those who don't will find an excuse!

Who or what inspires you the most?
My faith in God and the principles of his word, My husband and my family!

What is the best advice you ever received?
Go the extra mile it's not very crowded up there!

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I'm not sure if I have enough information to answer that. I like it where I am. I would need to do a lot more traveling before I could answer that question.
