Being raised in East Texas, I was instilled with a strict sense of integrity from a very young age. After being raised among cattle ranches in a small town 120 miles Northeast of Dallas, I moved to Austin to pursue my Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Texas. While in Austin, I put myself through school, sometimes holding down several jobs at a time in addition to full-time coursework. My coursework was fascinating, teaching me the different communication styles of all different cultures. I decided during this time that I should remain in the city. Within 3 months of graduation, I was already headed full-force into real estate. I worked for a developer, designing marketing programs, and starting a mortgage company. It wasn’t long before I began selling the homes we were marketing to investors from as far as Japan as well as to families in the Austin area. In the end, my efforts led the development to sell over 500 homes within 4 short years. During this time, I became well-versed in green building & energy efficiency benefits & construction processes. I also learned an immense amount about complex lending strategies from a developer’s perspective. In 2007, I became restless with the Austin market and sought something more fast-paced. I picked up and moved to Miami a short time later, and now focus my business on Downtown Miami, from Brickell to Midtown. I live in Downtown with Carmela Soprano, my beloved Maltese. I never plan to leave this neighborhood, as I see that it has everything a person could possibly want in the city. Sunday afternoons at Mary Brickell Village or a stroll through Bayfront Park are just a couple of my favorite things, and more is coming! Many people refer to Downtown Miami as the “Manhattan of the South,” and I do not disagree. Each condo building is spectacular in its own way, and I absolutely love working in them. The changes in the market over recent years have given us a great opportunity, along with unique challenges. Each day, I spend time brainstorming new ways to make renting, purchasing, selling or buying property in Miami easier. I have become quite talented at short sales, both from the buyer’s perspective and from the seller’s perspective. Downtown Miami foreclosures are also something I understand & stay on top of. Each time new legislation passes that affects a building, I make sure to understand the reason behind the decision, the effect that it will have on my clients as well as the building itself. My commitment to you as your local neighborhood Realtor is to provide you with thorough, professional & specialized service… much like the service you experience from your attorney, doctor or CPA. I intend to understand your goals & to help you achieve them on a long-term basis. Several of my current clients have worked with me since 2002, the year I began working in real estate. I will always strive to exceed your expectations & provide a seamless transaction. Should you ever have a question about Downtown Miami real estate, or any of the listings you see here, do not hesitate to call. I would love to help.
