screwed me over

We booked his apartment at the flamingo resort to rent 5 months in advance and paid in full. A week before we were to arrive we contact him about getting keys. At first, his partner said they had no record of our reservation. When we showed them our agreement and payments - they admitted they double booked us. Instead of kicking out the second person or finding us a suitable replacement they did nothing. We got some of our money back on paypal but were forced to rent a hotel which cost us much more since it was booked last minute - they refused to pay the extra costs of the last minute booking. Don't trust him - and do not send him a cent in advance. Sleezy.
