- In year 2009, one of my buyers found a wonderful house they wanted to buy. They directed me to submit an offer for 20 percent less than the asking price. I’m thinking to myself that my buyers are crazy. Well, we worked on negotiating back and forth for a week and eventually got the original offer price of 20 percent less than asking price. We’re talking a difference of $115k. Here’s what I learned and what I do for all of my clients – you have to get into the ring and fight as you never know what will happen.
