- People not understanding that a Realtor or Broker is not a used car salesperson. We are licensed and trained to protect the public, know the laws of Real Estate and know our Market to be in a position to best advise our clientele. Customers who do understand end up using us over and over, especially if they trust the agent to be honest and have their best interest at heart.

- I had a customer I worked with over several months, with them making several repeated trips to Key West. They had an idea that they wanted a home on a canal where they could keep a boat. Their price range of course kept going up as they realized that the type of house they really wanted was in a higher range but I accomodated to make them sure. Then after being out with them the last time, they called me up and said he had had a nightmare of worrying about the boat while he wasn't here and really just wanted to be in Old Town Key West. Afterall this was just going to be a second home. They had found something they thought they liked and wanted me to come make an offer. It turned out to be exactly what the first picture of an idea a house he thought he wanted that he had sent me when they first contacted me.Only it wasn't on the water. We closed several weeks later and they have become very good friends of ours.
