Ronda Sold My House

Ronda sold my house on the southside and found me the house of my dreams in the Riverside / Avondale area. During the time my southside house was on the market she told me exactly what to do in order to get my house sold. She was was with me every step of the way. She was in contact with me in the good / bad times. I heard from her at least once a day through to the final selling / buying transactions.

Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I love working with people and making new friends. I love the excitement when a buyer finds the "perfect house" and the thrill of helping a seller review an offer on their home!
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
I think the most challenging issue all Realtors face today is making sure that sellers understand this new market we're in. Pricing has never been so critical as it is today. The prices of late 2008 are nowhere near the prices of 2005-2007. This is a declining market and that's very hard for many sellers to accept.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat! I worked for 6 long months with a special client on a Short Sale property. 6 months and a few days into the deal--it fell apart. We immediately went house hunting again. We found a house 3 days later, made an offer, got our offer accepted, and closed 20 days later!! Whew! What an adventure that was.
What is your best characteristic?
I think people see right away that "what you see is what you get". I am as real as you can get. I think that people see immediately that I am going to do what I say I am going to do, when I say I am going to do it. I also think people appreciate my professionalism and my dedication to them. I am genuine and always treat people like I would like to be treated. I care, and it shows.
Who or what inspires you the most?
I think the thrill of learning inspires me most. I am constantly learning. I attend at least one Real Estate class every quarter. I truly believe that knowledge is power. Real Estate changes constantly. I think you have be willing to evolve with it. Technology utilization is critical today in Real Estate. Learning to utilize technology is an ongoing process.
What is the best advice you ever received?
The best advice I ever received was to under promise and over deliver! I always aspire to give my clients everything they need-and then some!
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would live right here in Jacksonville, FL!
