There is always something different, with lots of new challenges, and the need for creativity.

Selling myself, I am really my only commodity.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I was referred a rental prospect for a high end golf course home several years ago. I leased him a country club home on a five year lease with a lease average of $4,200 per month. I kept in touch with him, and before the end of the five year period, I negotiated the purchase of the property on his behalf, with a closed sale price of $1,025,000 on a property that finally appraised for $1,250,000!
**********
I was the fifth listing agent on a home that had been listed for four years at the time of sale. The previous listing agents had the property listed from anywhere from six months to one year. The seller had turned down a few offers, and several other contracts had fallen through. I listed the house at a higher sales price than it had ever been listed before, and had the house listed for less than 30 days when I put the house under contract successfully in a very complicated and creative transaction with a contract sales price of $5,150,000!
What is your best characteristic?
Integrity, Outside the box creativity, getting the job done, being able to picture what a property should look like almost immediately, and knowing values extremely well.
Who or what inspires you the most?
My father, and taking care of my clients for repeat and referral business
What is the best advice you ever received?
1) Don't major in minor.
2) As hard as it may seem to do, listening is almost always more important than talking.
3) Be prepared, come prepared, know your market cold.
4) Tell people the truth, even if it is not always what they want to hear.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I have not seen or experienced enough places to answer that question yet! However San Diego, CA; Newport, RI; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Brugge, BE; and somewhere in the south of Spain are presently the leading 5 contenders!
