1988-This was the year I bought my first house in Philadelphia, on Temple University's main campus!

$500-2M
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
Nationally, there are lots of great and amazing deals to invest in...but South Florida probably has some of the deepest discounts anywhere to be found. If ever was an opportunity to buy real estate for your future, now is the time.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
It's been in my blood since I started investing in Philly. I love the action, the challenge of finding DEALS for people! I purchased, rehabbed and leased properties at Temple University's main campus, Philadelphia, PA. I aggressively acquired and grew my personal real estate portfolio between 1988-2004. I invested in and rehabilitated houses and commercial real estate in deteriorated, blighted, urban neighborhoods, improving property values tremendously by creating critical mass, momentum and brought in a new wave of investment. I specialized in creating value in real estate in marginal, overlooked neighborhoods.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Currently, it's trying to get deals financed. Very difficult in this market, things will loosen up, but not for a while.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I brought a client from France to a home without his wife. It was listed for $500K, not an inexpensive house. She was still in Paris. We walked in, he looked around for approximately 3 minutes, and he said, "I'll take it." I asked, "Don't you want to bring your wife?" He responded, "No. I know exactly what she wants to buy!" That was the easiest client I ever had, he has actually bought quite a few pieces from me over the past couple of years.
What is your best characteristic?

Who or what inspires you the most?
The future! The challenge of making deals, it's always been in my blood. Now I do it for others!
What is the best advice you ever received?
Never, ever, ever give up.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Israel, somewhere in the north, I love the weather, miss the bite of the cold.
