Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
The biggest trend is luxury condominiums. Because we're so close to New York City, many buyers are looking for the same level of services that they get with city living, but in a more suburban environment. Even Trump is building a luxury high rise condominium in Stamford.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
It's such a pleasure to meet so many different people and to help them acheive the goals of homeownership.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Helping first-time homebuyers find the best house for their money and their needs. With our average home prices so high it can be a real challenge for a first time buyer to find the right home without stretching their budget.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I've had to fight a lot of crazy doors and locks when showing properties, but nothing topped the time I had to climb through an open window to get into a house because the front door knob was broken. It just shows that I'll do whatever it takes to make my clients happy.
What is your best characteristic?
I'm both loyal and determined, which means that I'm always looking out for my clients' best interest and will do whatever it takes to see things through to a satisfactory conclusion.
Who or what inspires you the most?
I'm most inspired by my 2 1/2 year old son. Everything is a wonder to him and he's taught me to slow down and enjoy the moment. I work hard so that I can spend more time with him.
What is the best advice you ever received?
Don't worry, just do something about it. My father always says that it's better to spend your energy doing something than worrying about it.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I love living in Connecticut because I can go to New York City one day and be in a quaint New England country town the next. But if I could live anywhere else it would have to be Paris. I once lived there for a month and enjoyed every minute of it.
