A wonderful first purchase

We met Hedy at another property we were looking at. She showed it to us like we had asked but we weren't interested in it. Based on our conversation over the hour or so we had spent togather, she asked if we had time to see another property that she thought fit our needs. After visiting it, we made an offer later that week. We have now been living in it for about six months now and have no regrets. She was always in our corner an really educated us through our first purchase of property. We whole- heartedly recommend anyone use her and are going to be using her to look at investment properties in the short term.

What is the average home price in your market?: The average home price in Glastonbury at the moment is $427,168.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?: I enjoy being a real estate agent because I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and enjoy helping them in such a life changing transaction.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?: I believe the most challenging issue is keeping up with all the changes that the market makes and the way people view those changes. A good real estate agent needs to keep up with all of them in order to help their client make an informed decision.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.: One success story that sticks in my mind was when I was approached by a gentleman and his wife that had a few negative experiences with realtors. He and his wife were having difficulty selling their home which was a short sale. They had me list their property and with no uncertain terms told me that they wouldn't "put up" with any "shenanigans" from anyone. So I went to work, did all my research and successfully we sold the property in a month and they have since sent me many referrals because they were so happy with the transaction.
What is your best characteristic?: I am a patient people person. I listen very well to what my clients wants and needs are and I continually educate myself in the market to keep up with new trends.
Who or what inspires you the most?: Being positive and surrounding myself with positive people inspires me. My family inspire me. My friends inspire me. My fellow agents inspire me.
What is the best advice you ever received?: Keep a positive attitude...people don't like to be with negative people.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?: Right now in my life I live exactly where I want to live. However, when the time comes to retire I would like to do so some place tropical.
