Chris goes Above and Beyond

Chris handled the sale of our brother's home that he had lived in since the day he was born (60 years!). Chris always found the time to do nice things for Howard and be very kind and considerate to him during this trying time as Howard had moved into an assisted living community. We thank him for his thoughtfulness in handling so much more than normal in this special case. We really appreciated having someone as special as Chris handling Howard's affairs.

Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?: There is nothing routine about this business. Each day brings a new set of opportunities; new people, new property, new policies and legislation, and new challenges to conquer.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?: Countering all the misinformation and negativity coming from the media regarding the current market (real estate is local). Additionally, it is challenging to overcome the influence of other real estate agents whose agenda seems to be in conflict with reality in many cases.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.: On multiple occasions I have had clients thank and compliment me on being not only a great Realtor with a top notch team of professionals to support their purchase or sale, but also for being a therapist of sorts for helping them through all the emotional ups and downs of the home buying or selling process.
What is your best characteristic?: I am able to navigate through difficult and complicated situations when emotions and personalities are running strong. Buying and selling property can bring out the best and the worst in people, and you need to know how to effectively manage both to maximize the result to your clients.
Who or what inspires you the most?: I draw a great deal of inspiration from my individual clients. They are putting an enormous amount of trust in me to help them with the largest purchase or sale they make ever make. This promotes tremendous personal involvement and commitment.
What is the best advice you ever received?: Keep balance in your life - work to live don't live to work.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?: The desert Southwest. I love the dry climate!
