- Because I get to bring a level of professionalism to an industry that has seen better days that will help drive our culture and our economy towards the right direction. And of course there is no better feeling than doing a great job for somebody and getting to be a big part of a big life decision they make, and seeing them happy to have used me and to be in the home of their dreams!
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- Getting the truth out there as to who are the truly great agents and who are the mediocre ones. There is a perception about certain professionals that don't quite set the standard to what I believe it should be in the real estate industry, so I drive to change that perception while providing nothing less than the best service and best results, period.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- Every client I help is a success story. I say this cliche because I take the time and the effort to ensure every single one of my clients' needs are met and that I can help them achieve their life goals. It's not about buying the most expensive home, it's not always about resale value, it's more about making a decision that is financially sound but that helps drive a family to succeed in achieving their own dreams, whatever they may be.
- What is your best characteristic?
- Wisdom. Wisdom is a combination of knowledge, judgment, and experience. It is knowing what to do, how to do it, and understanding what it takes to serve your clients with integrity and with nothing less than 100% effort.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- Jesus Christ, My father Ron Rickard, Sir Edmund Hilary, Tim Tebow, and anyone else that defies the odds to become a champion of what they believe in.
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- "The mountain is the means. The man is the end. The goal is not to reach the top of the mountain, it is to improve the man." For me, this means that it is not about making money or closing so many deals, it is about providing a service like no other to people that depend on you, and knowing that you will come through for them, no matter what.
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- I would live on a houseboat at Lake Powell, UT. I would spend the summers having friends down and enjoying 80 degree water and all the fun watersports while enjoying campfires by night. The winters would be peaceful and serene, with an unimaginable breadth of discoveries to be found in the ever-changing and never-ending canyons. Nothing humbles you more than being in a place where you understand our planet and the beauty behind it's maker.
