What year did you become a real estate agent?
1987
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
I have been in Real Estate for four years, and in business development for over 20 years.
What is the average home price in your market?
Average is $440k
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
Small new developments include 35 acre lots, smaller lots with improvements, townhome developments and a few single family home developments. Trends are for higher density in town, and sub-divided properties with improvements and covenants near town- more rural feel.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I enjoy the challenge of finding the right property for buyers and the right buyer for sellers. My years of consultative sales experience really helps!
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Differentiation. My agency is a Christie's Great Estates affiliate, and that is tremendously helpful.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
Sticking with difficult-to-sell properties until sold and difficult-to-please buyers always gives a great feeling of success and reward when these transactions come through to closing.
What is your best characteristic?
Listening and understanding what my clients need and want.
Who or what inspires you the most?
Interesting question. Those who continue to be vitally involved in their communities and have good family lives while still being successful agents.
What is the best advice you ever received?
Hang in there.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
DURANGO! of course.
"I love being involved with such an expensive family purchase! It adds pressure to make sure the process goes right, or it can really derail the whole..."
