"I found the house of my dreams and Chad had a lot to do with that. He went way beyond just showing me houses that matched what I thought I wanted. He took the time to help me decide just what it was that I wanted. He suggested that we look at properties with rental income so that I could get a better house for the money. He suggested parts of town that I never considered. When it came down to it, he suggested I look at the house I finally decided to buy even though I thought it couldn't work. The bottom line is that if you want someone who really cares that you find the perfect home, you need to hire Chad. In my opinion, he earned every penny of his commission. He was professional, has a great sense of humor, really listens, tolerated house shopping with my 6 year old and paid attention to every detail throughout the entire purchasing process."

What year did you become a real estate agent?
2001
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
7 years as a licensed broker and a total of 13 years including my prior work experience in real esta
What is the average home price in your market?
Boulder Single Family Homes: $467,000
Boulder Attached Dwellings: $230,500
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
Boulder is a fairly steady housing market in a well diversified community leaving us somewhat protected from the market woes of the rest of the country.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I love that I get to work with people in a job that is constantly changing. Every transaction has it own challenges. Most of all, it is an extremely rewarding job when I get to see how happy my clients are when they get the home they really wanted, or when the home they are selling completes closing.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
In todays information age, information can often come too easy and may not always be accurate. It is not uncommon for a new client to have perceptions based on way the media portrays a situation rather than based on what is actually happening in the market. In good times, I had to help clients come to realistic expectations about their property so they didn't run into financial issues later on down the road. Today, it is using the actual verified statistics from our market to make informed decisions and wise investments.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I'm here. Boulder, Colorado os one of the greatest places in the world to live. The quality of life here is second to none. We have an incredible connection to the outdoors while at the same time we have been labeled as one of the "Most Educated" cities in America. I am an avid skier, rock climber, hiker, and mountain biker putting my home literally within minutes of some of the best locations in the country for each of those sports.
