The average for an in town Bayfield home is $246,000 and the in town Durango homes are averaging $43

Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
Median sale prices for in town Durango have dropped 5% and Bayfield area homes have declined 16% for the first three quarters of 2009 as compared to the same period in 2008. Number of sales remained level for Bayfield while Durango saw an 11% decrease in the number sold as compared to the first three quarters of 2008.

Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I love helping people find their dream home and seeing their eyes light up when we have found that perfect property.

What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Tighter lending criteria.

Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
Working with a first time home buyer is the most rewarding. They are the hungriest for advace and the most excited hwne they finally own that first home they have been dreaming of.

What is your best characteristic?
I am honest and not a pushy saleman. It is all about the clients best interests and desires, not mine.

Who or what inspires you the most?
My family is my life and inspiration

What is the best advice you ever received?
Your reputation is everything. No amount of money is worth ruining sacrificing your morals or reputation over.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Southwest Colorado. I have the priviledge of living where many come to vacation.
