"I had such a wonderful and positive experience with my last real estate transaction, I am compelled to write this recommendation for Mrs. Carolina Chacon of Team Chacon located in West Covina.
Mrs. Chacon was actually referred by another real estate agent I met in the Torrance-South Bay area. This agent could have sold my home in West Covina; however, she felt Mrs. Chacon had the experience required to meet my needs. This action alone proved to me that Mrs. Chacon was held in high regard by her own peers.
Mrs. Chacon was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. From the first day we met she was extremely prepared with data and information with graphs to educate me about the history and present market conditions of my area. The transaction took only a few months was very pleasant.
I can only give Team Chacon my highest recommendation to help your relocation needs in and out of Southern California. I have no doubt that she can completely meet all of your expectations."

"My husband and I are both Kaiser Permanente physicians. To shorten our commune we had to sell our home in L.A. County as fast as possible. We initially hired an agent who did nothing for over 4 months. Was often unavailable and half the time would not address our phone calls. We noted that Team Chacon was representing sellers in our area and the properties were selling. We contacted them and Carolina immediately met with us, accommodated us into her schedule keeping in mind our difficult hours of work and addressed all of our questions and concerns.
She was very determined and focused to sell our property. She not only increased our asking price for the home to allow us a better profit but we started getting offers soon after we had hired her.
Our home was sold in a timely fashion, made the process very easy for us to understand and always accommodated our needs and difficult schedule. I would recommend her to friends and family and we would like her to be our agent in the future."

"Being a newly married couple, we spent a few months 'browsing' homes in deciding what we desired in our first home. We found that our current agent was not meeting our needs and was wasting our time with homes that we were not interested in. This was when we were referred to Carolina Chacon.
Carolina became available to us right away. She took the time to get to know us, and find out exactly what we were looking for in our first home. It was very comforting and re****uring to have someone that truly took our preferences into account. Carolina immediately provided us with a list of properties to look through and continued to do so every week.
Carolina was very accommodating of my schedule and always made herself available to me.
Both Carolina and Team Chacon did excellent work and moved at remarkable speed for us when we found the home we desired. Carolina's professionalism, friendliness, accessibility and high moral standards make her what I believe as far superior to other REALTORS."

"I knew Carolina well from the West Covina Chamber of Commerce and Sunrise Rotary Club, so I was familiar with her strong work ethics and her dedication to excellence. I did not have to think twice about asking her to represent me in both the sale of my current home and the search for my new one.
Team Chacon was flexible and accommodating, more than I ever expected. She knew exactly what I was looking for, and I fell in love with the first property Carolina showed me. She took me to see others, but the first one was just right. That was in 2005, when the market was brutal for buyers, and I am sure that if Carolina had not persevered the way she did, I would not have that home now.
Team Chacon is a very professional and dedicated group. I have never worked with someone I felt so comfortable with, and trusted so completely. She was available to me whenever I needed her, and she made sure the entire transaction was easy for me. I would highly recommend her to everyone I know."

What year did you become a real estate agent?
1999
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
9 Years.
What is the average home price in your market?
It depends on what type of home you are looking for. The average Town Home is from the High $300's t
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
Luxury Condos are the current trend for West Covina. With our boarders touching the neighboring communities we do not have much room for single family home additions.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
You never have the same day twice. Even if you are repeating an activity no two escrows are the same, no two days of door knocking are the same.
I enjoy getting to know the clients interests, life style, and needs in a home and then matching these needs and desires with the features that match them, finding the perfect home for that individual.
My favorite day in my job is the day I hand over the keys to my clients for their new home.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
I enjoy challenges, they keep me sharp and on top of my game. The most challenging aspect I face is dealing with other agents who are not professional.
Part-time agents tend to be lazy agents, and that just means we have to be 100% on top of our game to make sure that neither we nor the other agent drops the ball for the sake of our clients.
You can not let your ego play a role in this industry, we will buckle down and carry twice the load if it means getting our client into their dream home.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
Some of the most memorable moments in my career have come when door knocking. Whether it's when I'm being chased by a loose dog, or when an elderly man answers the door naked. Being out in the community knocking on doors not only gives me the best stories, but it is also the best way of truly understanding of what is actually happening in the neighborhood.
What is your best characteristic?
Honesty, too many agents encourage their clients to make decisions that make them the most money. I encourage the best fiduciary decision for my clients. Often times that means leading them towards the deals where I make the least money upfront.
This honesty is what drives my past clients back to me when they need to move, and probably explains why over 80% of my business to come from referrals from my past clients.
Who or what inspires you the most?
Jesus, My Father, Anthony Robbins, and Tom Ferry... in that order.
What is the best advice you ever received?
"Seek first to understand"
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
