We had one successful transaction with Marcus with no complaints. In fact we were quite happy. But on our next purchase, Marcus misled us about specific issues we had discussed with him. Then at the closing, so that the deal would go thru, he ****ured us he would personally refund the monies in question because he felt bad about the situation. As soon as the deal was done, Marcus disappeared, didn't return calls, and never made good on his committment. After inquiring with other agents, they were not surprised at all. Our opinion, he is in it for the quick and easy buck. You might have a good experience, but you might not. Do your homework because he is charming, but lacks ethics and follow thru. There are too many other good agents in Venice to settle with someone like this.
