I would use Mike Bui again again ....

Mike is simply the best realtor out there! We started our search over 9 months ago with Mike Bui. We initially put in an offer on a short sale. Mike was there to walk us through each step of the short sale process. I am glad he was able to set expectations for us in the whole shortsale process. After 6 months of waiting for the shortsale, we finally found out that we were not able to get the house after all. Mike, once again came to the rescue. We were really disappointed after losing out on the shortsale, but Mike was confident we would be able to find something better. He continued helping us search and ended up showing us over 30 homes in a span of 1-2 months. After a total of 9 months, we finally found our HOME! Mike was very diligent in following up on our offers, and that the reason why our offer got accepted. I appreciate how professional and knowledgeable he is about the latest and greatest things happening in the the real estate market. Without a doubt, I would use Mike for all my real estate needs. Mike Bui helped us with our short sale , eventhough this experience was very painful for us he and his team was very caring and very understanding with the short sale process . What is the average home price in your market?: $450,000 - $650,000
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?: I love Real Estate and I have a passion for helping others reach their goals. It's not always easy but if you're expectations are set right, the job gets done and everyone is happy. I enjoy handing keys to new homeowners and netting big for my sellers!
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?: The most challenging issue I face as an agent is working with other agents who lack the common courtesy and are so adversarial. We as agents need to work together more to get transactions closed, definitely there are times when we play hard ball with one another in negotiations, but other than that, we do have a common goal, close the transaction for the party that we are representing. My philosophy is within a Real Estate Transaction, Agents complete one another rather than compete with each other. That's how we'll get things done by working together.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.: One of my most interesting moments would have to be a call I received from a potential client who picked up my card from a home that I was showing and that she had been viewing with her agent. What was interesting is that I never solicited this client, I was simply there showing a property for my buyers and I was going over my pre-game plan prior to offering on the home. I was pointing out things that I saw that can be issues or red flags for inspections and appraisal. Ultimately, we passed on the home, however this client was honing in as well as her agent to every bit of information I was sharing with my buyer. This client then proceeded to grab my card that I had left as courtesy to the listing agent to let them know that I had shown the property, and kept it for herself. She waited till her Buyer/Broker contract was up with her agent and proceeded to call and ask for my assistance. She has now purchased a property and is a satisfied client.
What is your best characteristic?: My best characteristic would have to be persistence. I will put 110% into whatever it is that I am doing to attain my goals, my main goal is to help my clients reach theirs.
Who or what inspires you the most?: My inspiration comes from my parents. My father and mother fled their country and came here in 1982 with just the clothes on their backs and have provided more than enough for our family of 7.
What is the best advice you ever received?: The best advice I've received in doing Real Estate is that, "When you encounter a problem, don't focus on the problem, but rather focus on the solution. Only then will you solve the problem." Simple as that!
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?: I would choose to still live in the United States and reside in San Jose, California. We have great weather, granted we definitely pay for it. :)
