Langston Leigh buy a previous house with Anthony Daniels and would recommend them to other home buyers.
Anthony helped us purchase our first investment property in SF, a lovely pair of flats. With the extra income generated from the other unit, we can comfortably afford our mortgage each month. He was knowledgeable, honest, available and diligent throughout the whole transaction. We always knew what to expect. A few months after closing, when we were ready to do some renovations, Anthony provided us with recommendations for contractors, handymen, etc. About a year later, my parents listed their family home with him. He priced the property right, prepared it well for showing and helped generate a lot of traffic and interest. My parents were more than ecstatic with the final selling price of their home. He is now our "go to" family Realtor. We will be referring Anthony to all our family and friends.
M. Walker buy a previous house with Anthony Daniels and would recommend them to other home buyers.
We met Anthony at an open house and immediately liked him. He was easy going, VERY knowledgeable about the real estate industry and provided some good tips on what to look for in a home. Most of the agents we met before were either pretty dumb or VERY pushy. He performed a search for us and found us the perfect home in less than 2 months!! THANKS ANTHONY!!
Rick Serna buy a previous house with Reid Rankin and would recommend them to other home buyers.
Reid has always been up front with myself and my wife and I intend to use him with our current sale as well as my new home we are going to buy as our retirement home.
B.D. buy a previous house with Boris Oplanic and would recommend them to other home buyers.
Boris assisted my husband and I in the purchase of a San Francisco condominium several years ago. He was wonderful. He is extremely knowledgeable about financing, and no one knows San Francisco real estate better than Boris. Highly recommended.
John Dueber buy a previous house with Tony Alejandre and would not recommend them to other home buyers.
To start, Tony increased the asking price despite telling us that his client would accept (we were the only bidder). He told us we would like our inspector because he would be thorough, but when the inspector did find several things for which we put on the addendum as a negotiation starting point, we received the following response from Tony: "I thought your buyers were serious about buying a home. I'm sorry but my seller isn't going to agree to any of this. Please come back with the removal of contractors and pest contingency or send us the cancellation of escrow. You guys should educate your buyers and let them know that they are buying a quality home in a great neighborhood in San Francisco. If they want a cookie-cutter home that is brand new with no character have fun showing them places in the suburbs. All of these requests are pathetic. All the Best, Tony Alejandre" We were forced to drop all contingencies and take legal counsel for the contract to be honored.
bebop buy a previous house with Christina C Chung and would not recommend them to other home buyers.
So I was interested in one of her listings. Called her and left a message. No one returned my call. Called her assistant's number and left a message. No one returned my call. Emailed her. No reply. Finally she answered the phone after four days of trying to reach her. She was making dinner, making a lot of noise and I couldn't hear her. She said she'll call me back after dinner. She never called. Emailed her again. No reply. Finally after more than two weeks of trying, I was able to set up an appointment to see the house. How about 3:30pm? I asked. She wanted 3pm because she had another appointment afterward. I showed up at 3pm. She was 30mins late. Business must be very good for her to keep her so busy.
JS buy a previous house with Tony Alejandre and would not recommend them to other home buyers.
Agent and client offered to release escrow funds in order to extend escrow period only to buy a few weeks more time and at the last minute backed out of the deal, effectively costing seller thousands in lost rent. Claimed they would release escrow funds and effectively pay rent to cover the mortgage... in the week prior to the end of original escrow they canceled the deal leaving sellers to scramble for a renter after they moved out of the area weeks ago.
IG buy a previous house with Kenneth Nguyen and would not recommend them to other home buyers.
I contacted Ken Nguyen regarding one of his condo listings. The MLS showed it as ACTIVE and I wanted to set up a viewing. After making a big effort to track him down, Ken told me that they already had an offer that the bank was reviewing and he was not interested in talking to anyone else. While I was trying to clarify status, he yelled at me that he is not interested and hung up. I am amazed that this kind of behavior is being allowed by a company like Caldwell Banker. I thought that they have standards for their employeed.
Steven Landon buy a previous house with Reid Rankin and would not recommend them to other home buyers.
I agree with the previous post. My wife and I made an offer on a house in Noe and Reid, who represented the seller, ended up writing counter offers to 13 of the 15 initial offers. We were one of the 13. My agent, who has been in the business for 20+ years, was shocked and thought this was unheard off. We did sign the counter, but ended up not getting the property. It was a frustrating experience where Reid seemed to have played a whole list of buyers. At the end we were glad that it didn't work out. The couple that got the property def overpaid. I would be aware working with Reid. There are good real estate agents that are professional and reasonable. Reid isn't one of them.
richard reffner buy a previous house with Anthony Daniels and would recommend them to other home buyers.
We recently bought a foreclosure property from Anthony. He was so easy going, well informed and no pressure to buy. We lkiked him from the beginning and have already recommended him twice. Thanks "Antnee".
Michael Giddes buy a previous house with Nicole Macy and would recommend them to other home buyers.
Absolutely brilliant. The woman is a resource of invaluable ideas on how to terrorize one's existing tenants after aquiring a property and making their lives miserable. I'll have no trouble getting just the sort of people in my building that I want!!! I didn't know hydrochloric acid or carbon monoxide, so easily produced or obtainable, cut be put to such clever uses!
Boris Jones buy a previous house with Reid Rankin and would not recommend them to other home buyers.
Reid isn't a very ethical agent. He doesn't know who I am but my sister was trying to buy a house he represented the buyer and the seller on. He is one of those agents who loves to double end deals. Unfortunately since my sister didn't have him as her agent, she got left out in the cold. Don't try to buy a house Reid is the selling agent for unless he is also your agent for buying. Beware, Boris
Steed buy a previous house with Daniel Hendel and would recommend them to other home buyers.
Dan is absolutely the best agent in town - knowledgeable, friendly, diligent, professional, non-pressured. He lets you make decisions at your own pace without any pressure. When you need help, he is always there. Returns calls immediately and guides you through the entire process. He understands that purchasing a home is a major investment so he wants you to be completely sure when you buy that home. He is absolutely the best. Given his art background, Dan also can visualize when you can't. He knows what he is doing, has done it a long time successfully and he will always be there for you. The best in town.
Roxanne Harris buy a previous house with Stephanie Klekas and would recommend them to other home buyers.
Stephanie was on top of everything that needed to be done. She was personal and professional. One of the best agents I've ever worked with. Five star all the way!
Mary buy a previous house with Betty A Taisch and would not recommend them to other home buyers.
Horrible. My transaction was difficult and Betty had a chance to make it a go but didn't because she was bandering to the clients with the most money. Betty deliberately never gave me my counteroffer back; kept me dangling as a back-up offer on purpose. Every time I had a question, I had to contact her for an answer. When the other buyer looked like they couldn't close, then Betty contacted me and once again dangled my dream of home ownership only to not have the courage to tell me the truth. This was the WORST realtor I ever used. She should have her license taken away, period.
Douglas V. buy a previous house with Doug Devine and would recommend them to other home buyers.
I'm a real estate investor, so I've worked with many agents over the years. Doug is in a cl**** of his own. In fact, he's the only one I trust with my primary home. I've worked with him twice and would do it again in a minute. Why? He's great at managing the details, has great energy, is always available, and is terrific at following up on everything to make it a seamless process whether you're a buyer or a seller. But his star quality is his ability to listen and then strategically work with you -- particularly in tricky and unpredictable markets like San Francisco.
Frank Colligan sell a previous house with Doug Devine and would recommend them to other home sellers.
I don't know where Doug gets all of his energy, but I sure am glad he was putting it to work for me. I doubt that there is anything you could ask of your realtor that Doug did not bring to the table in helping me to sell my Miraloma house. From the start, Doug knew how to price the home correctly for the market, to ensure high interest in the property and a quick sale. I had multiple offers after only 3 days on the market and before the first open house, at a price higher than any of us expected! Every step of the way, Doug was on top of everything that needed to be done. If I had a question, Doug was always just a phone call away, and if I had to leave a message for him, it seemed like it was never more than ten minutes before Doug would return my call. I truly felt like I was Doug's only client. It was particularly re****uring to have Doug working for me since I had already relocated to Seattle several months earlier. Even after the sale closed, Doug was still there. He did not disappear like some agents do. When some post-closing problems arose, Doug was there to help me negotiate solutions with the buyers, and he provided some welcome re****urance based on his years of experience. Real estate is a service business with high stakes for both buyers and sellers. Doug provided the ultimate in service, for which I will always be grateful.
g buy a previous house with Gary Saydah and would recommend them to other home buyers.
Gary was truly fantastic in my transaction with him. He was on top of the situation at all times and had timely and helpful ideas when we needed them. We felt truly taken care at all times. I would recomment Gary for any of your real estate needs.
Vincent Trujillo buy a previous house with Boris Oplanic and would not recommend them to other home buyers.
I did not use Boris to buy or sell a house. He was the property manager for a rental home in San Francisco where I was the tenant from October 2005 through January 2007. Upon move out I asked him via voice mail and email several times about the security deposit ($5000) refund with no reply. I finally reached him on Feb 20, 2007 about the status of the refund and he said that he hadn't even started the paper work on it. In San Francisco the security deposit must be refunded within 21 days of move out, plus due interest, minus and deductions. By Feb 26, I had still not received the refund. I called him to ask why I do not have it yet and he said that the client is responsibe for sending it. I asked him why then did he tell me that he already sent the check? He proceeded to be beligerent with me, yelling in anger. He called me, and I quote a "****ing Cock Sucker." He then hung up on me.
