- I got a call about 6pm one Saturday as I was about to leave the office. The caller insisted on seeing one of our listings immediately, saying if I didn't show it to him he'd keep calling agents until someone did. Not wanting our seller to be bothered even later in the evening, I showed the home to him, and again the next day. He did buy the home, without an agent, and the transaction actually went fairly smoothly. Lesson learned: Sometimes you should tolerate arrogant, pushy people. Not usually, but sometimes.

- Who or what inspires you the most?
- The look on the face of the first time buyer when the home is hers.

- Always remember that for you it may be just another sale, but for the client, it may be one of the biggest financial transactions in the client's life.
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- San Diego, California, which has been my home for over 25 years. But I'd also like to try living in the Northern California wine country.
