Very Good Experience
I can only say good things about Melina Rissone. My family just moved to Poway and we were recommended to Melina by some locals we met at school. Melina was very professional in all matters and always took her time to make sure she understood what we wanted. We never had the impression that she tried to convince us to buy, like many other Real Estate Agents do. When we finally found the perfect home Melina managed to negotiate the price we wanted. All in all, I can only recommend her services if you are buying/selling your home.

I just moved to Poway because of the family and because of the Poway School District being one of the top ones...A friend had already recommend Melina so I thought I would check her out along with some other real estate agents. There was really no need to see anybody else, since she impressed me right from the beginning. First we found out exactly what mortgage I could get, and how much I could afford. Then Melina took the time to assess our exact needs and wants and only came up with offers that were matching all of the above. At no time did she try to upsell us to a more expensive property, or something that did not make our list. Melina constantly reminded us of her availability to show us properties as often as we needed to make sure we get the right fit. At the end when it came to contract negotiations, she was extremely professional and got us everything we asked for.

"In today’s real estate market, selling a house is a headache. When we had to sell our house in Poway in the summer of 2009 due to job relocation, we had no idea what we were going to get into but prepared for the worst. As our listing agent, Melina did a wonderful job beyond our expectation. Not only was she well prepared in her interview to answer our questions, but also took extra steps by taking us to tour other similar houses near by ours that were on the market to get first hand information, such as floor plan, upgrades, location, privacy, view... so we could do a thorough and realistic comparative market analysis together instead of just the cold numbers from a data pool. She hired the most talented stager and gave our house a model perfect appeal. The video tour she posted on the internet was so attractive that we almost changed our mind to keeping the house instead of selling it. No pictures!
I'm not working with this agent but I can say based upon her marketing that I would never be a client of hers. Based upon her postings on craiglist.com, she provides absolutely no pictures versus the majority of agenst who do provide pictures. This is a discredit to the services she provides for her clients given that she will eanr a commission but based upon what? There is a pre-recorded message and her website has 1 featured property at this time compared to the 25 postings she has on craigslist. If I'm reading that right, that means that 24 of her clients either do not wish for there house to be marketed to potential buyers with pictures or they are missing potential buyers because no pictures are provided. In this day and age of real estate sales, visual marketing is extremely important. Potential buyers like myself will simply observe that there is not a picture and will move on. After viewing her website, there is no additional information about the homes she posts.Not impressive
