1993
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
I have been providing consultation and real estate services to the greater bay area for over 14 year
What is the average home price in your market?
The average price of homes in my market area ranges from mid $300s to $600s. There is a home out th
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
We are seeing an overall price reduction in some areas, with sellers more willing to provide closing cost assistance to buyers; making it a great time to buy!
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
Providing proper education about the home buying process is important. Being able to guide my clients from beginning to end, and seeing the smile on their face when I hand them the keys to their new home is rewarding. I have made some great contacts, and even greater friends.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Keeping abreast of changes in the industry requires that I take the time to participate on Boards such as being a Director on the local association, and Director, and participating member at CAR, which is the California Association of Realtors. I know that I bring my clients the most up to date information. My biggest challenge, not enough hours in a day.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
My buyer came to me with a loan from a large banking institute. The loan terms changed from week to week after we were in contract on her dream home. I contacted headquarters, and spoke to managers from the bay area to southern California. By the time my complaints and negoitations were over, she ended up with a better loan, at a better rate, than was originally quoted. She's now in her new home, and is one of my biggest fans.
What is your best characteristic?
"Listening" to what my clients are saying, and taking the actions required to meet their goals and needs.
Who or what inspires you the most?
I feel like I'm on a journey with each client that I begin to work with. I'm inspired by their desire to become homeowners, and the joy we both feel when it becomes a reality.
What is the best advice you ever received?
The same advice that I give to each person I meet. If there is a desire, there is a way for it to become a reality. In our office, we have an "I Believe" wall of the agents, and their beliefs. I believe that success begins with visualizing your dreams. If you see homeownership in your future, I believe that together we can get there.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Right here in the bay area where you have beautiful weather, the ocean, the mountains, and city lights all within easy reach of one another.
