I used Mr. Laffer as my agent to purchase a big house, but ended up with losing over $1000+ inspection fees and No House because we missed closing date. He was such a sloppy realtor, totally disrespectful to the escrow process, arrogant and making many false promises. He harassed seller’s agent and lied to all parties involved including his own client. If you ever have to deal with Mr. Laffer in your life time, be aware that you are not being FOOLED by a crooked realtor.

I had an AWFUL experience trying to close a real estate deal with Mr Bernard Laffer. He represented the buyer, and I was the seller in the transaction. Mr Laffer was unresponsive to most email communications and was often curt and rude when he did respond. He and his client routinely blew off deadlines established in our contract, with no notice and no request for extensions. We ended up closing almost a month late, with no explanations or apologies from him or his client. Part of a realtor's job should be informing his client and ensuring his client's compliance with contractual obligations, and Mr Laffer is supremely lacking in this regard. I would recommend other agents and potential buyers/sellers avoid him at all costs.
