How many years have you been in Real Estate?
I'm a seasoned professional with twenty plus years in Real Estate. Broker in Utah, before San Diego
What is the average home price in your market?
Average, Who cares! Everyone knows San Diego is not average. The prices are becoming more affordable
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I really think I enjoy Real Estate so much because I become a part of my clients family. Even if a some point we have to go back to our separate lives! For that time we work and share together, THEY are my family!
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Trying to be all things to all people! I'm a work in progress, learning every day more as I grow as a person.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I have many, many letters from past clients. I love all of my Real Estate clients! But one story comes to mind. It's about a young newly married couple that was a referral. I was busy with a lot of upper end properties. And really didn't have the time to take on first time buyers for a small condo. But somehow I found the time. And enjoyed earning their trust! I showed them the area they wanted, and we made a good offer on a condo. Well it was rejected. I can't remember the details. I only remember how disappointed they were:0( They loved the complex so. Nothing else was listed at the time. So, I contacted the home owners. Until I found someone that was interested in selling for their price. It was a much better unit! Both the buyer and the sellers were thrilled! The seller went on to buy a home through me. And the buyer later became a Real Estate agent. They have a baby boy now, and still live in Del Cerro
What is your best characteristic?
My best characteristic are my ears! No joke:0) Too many people just don't care to hear anything, but there own voice. I also enjoy making Real Estate Fun and exciting!
Who or what inspires you the most?
There are a lot of people that inspire, and I respect. If I have to pick just on that would be Dr. Wayne Dyer! He puts the calm in my sea.
What is the best advice you ever received?
The advise I give myself every day! Bettie remember what makes you happy is working! Seeing the end result, when people are pleased. And if there happy you've earn that commission and deserve it:0)
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would live where Love flows free, and I have plenty of clients and friends to enjoy life. The place really doesn't matter. Some are just prettier:0) I do love pretty!
