Reva was excellent. We probably would not have been able to close escrow on a very complicated house if it weren't for her. Also, we found her great to be around -- she can be both serious and funny.

We recently went to one of her open houses and she was incredibly condescending and rude. We have been actively looking for a house for several months, and this was the first open house I have ever walked away from gritting my teeth and shaking. I feel very sorry for her clients, because the house was actually quite nice.

We put our Lake Merritt Fourplex on the market just as the 2008 market was beginning to tank, so it took a few months to get it to sell. We were just about to take it off the market and rent it when Alicia found a buyer that would be just perfect--credit crunch and all. She kept plugging till they accepted the offer, just in time for us to close Oct 1, and you know what a disaster the market turned into in october. She's quite persistent, and you need that in this market!!

Alicia sold us her own duplex in Oakland in 2006. She failed to disclose to us that she had illegally remodeled the duplex, a fact we could not possibly have known from inspections. We discovered that the City of Oakland has been after her for years for her illegal remodels. She stood up city inspectors twice. She put enormous pressure on us to buy, pretended to have a serious competing bid, and lied about many other aspects of the house, including the size of an additional building in the back, which was 200 s.f. smaller than advertised. This house has been a disaster to us. We spoke with several lawyers, all of whom acknowledged that yes, there was definitely fraud involved, but they advised us against a lawsuit because of the cost and time involved. Alicia Drake is utterly untrustworthy. Stay away, far away.

Very unprofessional realtor. Shows up looking like she is going to a costume party. Never prepared. Always rushing. Never has all the details. Very difficult to work with. Don't use her!

I tried to work with Alicia on a sale of my home in 2007 but got frustrated with having to follow up with her and remind her everything that was supposed to be done that did not happen. The worst thing is that she will tell you anything you want to hear to get your listing. She will give you references of people who supposedly hired her in the past only to have those people turn out to be her personal friends. You just can't believe a word she says. Beware!

I can't recommend Alicia highly enough. She proved herself to be knowledgeable about the area I was looking in for a duplex, was smart, savvy and worked hard negotiating a tough market with a deal that worked within my price range. Alicia is sleezy and underhanded. She will do anything to get you as a client, then she will pressure you to do things - like removing conditions prematurely - just to ensure that she gets her commission. And all this while telling you how she has your best interests at heart. Needless to say, I would never do business with her again and would caution anyone considering engaging her services.

If you want an agent who will spend more time talking about how fabulous she is than looking after your best interests, Alicia is your gal. Here's what you can expect: missed appointments, a variety of excuses that, if you are dumb enough to stick around awhile, will eventually be duplicated, being used to get a better offer through for someone else, constant requests for favors, and not much else.

I had been looking for a duplex for some time - one deal had already fallen through due to problems with the property - but Alicia kept her eyes open and when an incredible deal came up, made it happen. She moved fast the moment it hit the MLS, and we were in contract while other buyers were still dithering. She protected me by making sure the proper contingencies were in place, and held my hand when I needed it. She seems to know the market and has an eagle eye for spotting opportunities too good to p**** up. I highly recommend her in this strange market we're in right now...

Alicia worked with another agent to get a difficult property ready to sell for an estate matter. She was tireless and reliable and when she told me she would do something, I knew it was done. When an offer came from one of her clients, she removed herself from the seller's position and my alternate agent represented me forcefully. I did not feel any problems with this potentially difficult situation. After several counters, all parties were happy. I was so impressed with her ability I recommended her to a friend who is currently selling. Alicia is a smart and energetic lady who knows her business! A top seller many times over and I know why.

I would use Alicia again. She not only sold my house and got a great deal but bought a new condo for me and got it done with lots of challenges. Use her she is the best. I recommend her heartily.

Alicia lured us into biding on a house she apparently knew has already been ratified by another buyer. She made a double commission by representing both ends (buyer & seller) while apparently pushing our off our bid until her offer had been accepted. if these facts are true, she is unthetical. I will find out more soon.

Alicia Drake was a neighbor of mine...I own property and am always keeping an eye open for more while driving around Oakland..I noticed several homes that had been on the market FOREVER with other agents...Then I noticed a few were handed over to Alicia Drake and within several weeks all had Coldwell Banker SOLD signs posted...I walked through some of those places b/f she listed them.. What a difference!..Well staged... Clean yard!!Lots of home buyers looking.. She seems to be a realtor who makes things happen!! Translation: She closes the deal and must have a long list of pleased clients!!

Don't use her!!! This agent used our offer on a house in Oakland to push up the price from someone who bid after we did. She played us like chumps and wouldn't return calls while getting someone else to bid over our price. Her selling tricks are as worn as her looks. Stay away from her!
