How many years have you been in Real Estate?: 29
What is the average home price in your market?: $450,000 (median)
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?: I have a passion for helping clients either purchase or sell his/her home. This is an occupation that seperates the genuine service oriented practitioners from those looking to make a quick buck.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?: Short Sale transactions are and continue to be my most challenging issue in terms of transactions, as they are so unpredictable. I have been successful in landing two in the past 6 months, however, with patieint clients.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.: I recently sold a SFR home in Mission Viejo to a client who I had started showing homes to about 2 years ago. This client originally was looking at qualifying for only condos. After numerous searches, he was laid off by his employer, and had to pause his search activity. He was hired shortly thereafter and after a 6 month wait, his search resumed; however, he now was qualified for a larger loan amount and he decided to search for single family residences. After showing a dozen or so homes, he put offers on 3 separate short sales, and after waiting for about 2 months, was successful in purchasing a great home significantly below market.
What is your best characteristic?: I am very easy to work with, honest and patient to a fault with my clients.
Who or what inspires you the most?: Dr. Rick Warren, author of the "Purpose Driven Life" has inspired me to work in a profession with a purpose in mind. I have applied his faith-based philosophy in my Real Estate Consulting Career.
What is the best advice you ever received?: Never, ever give up on your goals or dreams. With perseverance and faith, I can achieve them.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?: Right where I live - in beautiful Southern California, where the climate is the best year round and where I can reach the mountains or beaches within a short drive.
