The best agent in Marin!

M.J. is without a doubt the best realtor we could have asked for! When we decided to sell our home to upgrade to a larger one, we were nervous at first, but she made us feel at ease, and worked with us in not only getting the home prepped for sale, but knows exactly what the market is, got us multiple bids, and ultimately got our house sold for above listing price! At the same time, she carefully searched the market and found us the perfect new home for us. Since we had to transfer the proceeds of our home sale to the purchase of the new one, she also worked with the Title Company to made sure there wouldn’t be much down time between the closing of our old and new homes! M.J. is like a best friend that sticks up for you no matter what. We feel very fortunate that we found her!

Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I enjoy helping buyers and sellers meet their real estate goals, with the least amount of inconvenience and at the "best" possible price and terms.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Sellers have had a difficult time adjusting the the market correction that affected the residential markeplace nationally. No one owning real estate escaped from this loss. However, Marin home values fared better than most communities and, although the loss is real, there is also the opportunity for sellers to buy-up, at reduced prices, to a home that was once out of their financial reach.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
My real estate career includes 20+ years as a residential appraiser and also a designated member of the Appraisal Institute. In essence, I analyze markets and trends. This expertise has given me a keen understanding of how pricing can mazimize seller profit.
What is your best characteristic?
My best characteristic is my ability to "size up" a situation and find solutions that are most beneficial to my clients' needs.
Who or what inspires you the most?
My buyers and sellers inspire me the most.
What is the best advice you ever received?
The best advice I ever received is to "always think like a buyer and seller" throughout the listing or sale process.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Marin County is so beautiful, every day is a wonderful gift to me. The picturesque communities of Mill Valley, Sausalito, and Tiburon are among my favorites.
