My boyfriend and I gave him a deposit and credit fee of $560 last week in which he refuses to refund because he upped the rent by 20 percent, didn't disclose the onsite parking fees, utility charge until AFTER he collects a "non refundable deposit". I was told by an employee that quit he is a crook and has a long list of unethical practices! I was also told the employees are told not to disclose until after he gets the deposit. This man needs to lose his license and how dare he take people's hard earned $! Do not do business with him or his rude employees/ property managers!!!

For the past year or more Andrew Gombiner has been assisting my son in the sale of a family property that has some complexities to it that would be intimidating to a less knowledgeable real estate professional. Your effectiveness as a businessman was well demonstrated with your recent negotiations for the sale. There were many roadblocks, but I have been so amazed at the constant progress you and my son continued to make through the past months. Your guidance with him has been so effective - you guys make a great team! We all feel your commitment to this project, and as I stated before I cannot fully express my gratitude since your time and effort go beyond any monetary value. I look forward, and feel confidence, having your assistance to guide us into the future. In fact, without your vision and capabilities we would not be moving in the direction that we are today. "

I had missed the opportunity to do the 2008 property tax reassessment but used Gombiner & Company to do the 2009 reassessment and they saved me money and the process was good. This year I will work with them again and recommend them to others.

Andy Gombiner is a scam artist, rude, and incompetent. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH HIM OR HIS COMPANY!!! I put down $750 security on one of his properties. I asked for my money back only because he raised the rent and deposit after accepting my application. Then after going into his office he wouldn't give back my deposit. Finally he calls my gf back telling her that our check will be ready to be picked up. Which I gave him CASH b/c that's what he NEEDED to hold the place.

Andy at Gombner & Co. did a great job for me when i was in a tough spot. 7 mos ago I moved to LA and was looking to buy but i couldn't quite find what I needed. I decided to rent for a while and came across a place Gombiner was renting in Glendale. Andy at Gombiner not only gave me a very short term lease at the place in Glendale, he ended up being my agent for the home I purchased in Los Feliz. If he hadn't of been so reasonable on my short term rental and hadn't negotiated so well on my behalf for my home, I'd still be sitting in someone elses rental with another 3 mos to go on the lease with no house in sight.
