What year did you become a real estate agent?
1999
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
8 years
What is the average home price in your market?
750000
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
Range Pricing is more popular now. An example is 719,000-750,000. Range pricing brings more buyers to the table and the seller promises to respond to all offers within the range.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I enjoy the variety of skills needed to provide excellent results in each transaction. Negotiating, marketing, staging, patience and flexibility.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
In this market when there are more sellers than buyers, it's important for sellers to be realistic about having their home staged prior to putting it on the market. There's a big difference between livibility and marketibility. Realtors have to be diplomatic when discussing the importance of staging. You don't want to hurt their feelings. A staged home will sell faster and for a higher price.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
While previewing a home in Fountain Valley one day, I was head butted by a pot-bellied pig who went from the fenced yard to the front door while I was trying to open the door. He wanted entry into the house and I was trying to block him. When I returned to my car I called the listing agent and suggested the seller put the pig in the garage for future showings.
What is your best characteristic?
I consider my client's trust a gift, in all that I do I strive to be worthy of it. I provide every client with personal attention. The majority of my clients become my life long friends.
Who or what inspires you the most?
I awake each day with an attitude of gratitude. Life is good and I am grateful for it.
What is the best advice you ever received?
My mom gave me a plaque years ago. It says, The possibilities for tomorrow are usually beyond our expectations. My life is proof of that.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Orange County is paradise, why would anyone want to live anywhere else?
